Built by the Morris Loughborough factory for our client in Bahrain this is the 3rd crane delivered to this expanding plant which manufactures aluminium power cables for the High Voltage Power Lines industry.

The photographs show aspects of the crane ready for testing and marked ready for re-erection at site.

30t Hot molton Aluminium in crucibles are delivered to the plant from ALBA where the 30t crane collects from the vehicle and moves the ladle to the holding furnace, the auxiliary hook is located to the rear of the ladle and the Aluminium is poured carefully and under control, safely into the holding furnace's.
The operation is continued throughout the working day.

Inverter speed drives power the travel and travers motion for precise control.
The operator stands in a safe position alongside the crane with full view of lifting and pouring operations.

Overload protection and warning lights indicate any abnormal load conditions and prevent further lifting allowing for safe adjustment of the lifting operation.
