Playing its part in helping one of the world's leading speciality chemical manufacturers, Innospec, maximise the production efficiency across its approximately 250-acre facility in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, is Morris Material Handling.

Indeed the Maintenance Services Division of the UK's leading lifting services provider assumes responsibility for the ongoing maintenance, service and repair of all powered fixed and traversing lifting devices deployed by Innospec.

With Innospec at Ellesmere Port being responsible for the production of speciality chemicals for the fuel additives, detergent and personal care market sectors, Morris Maintenance Services is contracted to undertake a detailed monthly inspection of all proprietary lifting equipment.

Servicing the Innospec site from Morris Material Handling's Service Centre in nearby Warrington, a dedicated team of service engineers not only carry out the inspection procedure, they report on the operational effectiveness of the equipment and tag it as operationally safe for use. Furthermore, Morris's service engineers remain on call 24 hours, seven days per week should a breakdown response be required.

Commenting on the levels of service provision provided by Morris, Innospec's Plant Engineer, Chris North said: "Across all aspects of the maintenance, servicing and repair contract that we have in place with Morris, they provide us with an extremely professional and competent service.

"Not only are they very responsive, we gain access to a highly-skilled team which not only includes the service engineers who visit our site, but indeed everyone else who is involved in servicing our account. Furthermore, they fully comply with our on-site regulations and overall they are an astute and considerate group of individuals to work with," he concluded.
