Morris appoints new sales manager to spearhead growth in the south

Leading lifting services provider, Loughborough-based Morris Material Handling, has strengthened its Maintenance Services team following the appointment of Raymond Hodson as Sales Manager - South.

Looking to spearhead Morris growth across the south of the country, Ray will assume responsibility for developing and establishing new business contacts within a geographic area covering Kent to Cornwall.

Based near Portsmouth, Ray will report to Graham Dames who has recently been promoted to the position of UK Sales Manager, Maintenance Services.

Having worked in the materials handling industry for many years, Ray has a wealth of experience in engineering, project management and sales. Well known and respected across the industry, he has been instrumental in delivering many successful projects for a number of clients in the UK, Ireland and Europe, and within the railway, airport, industrial and highway sectors.

Commenting on the appointment, Graham Dames, UK Sales Manager Maintenance Services said: "The wealth of experience and knowledge that Ray brings to his new position will prove instrumental in helping us further increase our presence within what is an increasingly important part of the country for our maintenance services operation.
