CENTRE LATHE OPERATOR

Morris Material Handling Ltd based on North Road Loughborough, manufactures and supplies every item of lifting equipment from capital equipment to consumables. Morris’s reputation has been built on its capability to supply market leading cranes and hoists of every kind, be it a simple hand chain hoist or a bespoke designed overhead travelling crane.

Morris products are currently sold through independent distributors, directly to the end users in the UK and abroad, via our internal and external sales force and through our company owned 16 Material Handling Centres

We are currently looking for a person to work in our hoist manufacturing operation. Applicants must be fully experienced in using a Centre Lathe. Flexible in attitude and skill, applicants must be willing to undertake a broad range of machining duties in a busy machine shop. Full product training will be given.

This is a permanent position.

Rate of pay is £7.82p per hour plus paid overtime and pension. Pleasant working environment and free adequate car parking.

Applicants must be flexible and able to work overtime in the evenings and at weekends often at short notice.

Hours of work 37.5, Day shifts, Monday to Thursday 7.45am to 4pm. Friday 7.45am to 1.45pm. ½ hour lunch break
